What is a build a bear / teddy bear party?
A teddy bear making party is a fun way for both boys and girls to celebrate their birthday party or in fact any other occasion. Our teddy bear parties give the children a chance to create their very own cuddly bear that they can take home and keep. Each bear skin is supplied with a make-a-wish charm, super soft stuffing and a teddy bear birth certificate.
What age range is the teddy bear party suitable for?
A teddy bear making party is suitable for both boys and girls aged 4 and over.
Are there any sharp parts / needles used?
There are no sharp parts or needles used to make the teddy bears. Each bear skin has a zip lock at the back and a Velcro fastening meaning that this activity is suitable for younger children as mentioned above.
What do the teddy bears look like?
We usually bring a range of bear skins for the children to choose from. Most of the time the skins include a mixture of bears and animals including cats, dogs and elephants (for example). To get an idea of what they look like please reference the picture above. The completed teddy bears are roughly eight inches tall when completed. Please note that we cannot guarantee exactly which bear skins will be available for you party.
Can I order any additional items like teddy bear clothes?
We can source a range of accessories for the teddy bears including teddy bear clothes and voice boxes that the children can record their own voices on to and place inside their bear. For full details of the bear accessories we can provide please call our office.
Do you do anything else at a teddy bear party?
Yes. At a bear party we also play teddy bear themed party games with the children.
When should I feed the guests?
We advise that you add an extra hour on to your teddy bear making party and feed the guests once we are finished.
