What ages of children will be present?

For example some couples will ban babies and very young children, but if you don’t want to leave anyone out you might hire a crèche to cope with the situation.

Wedding favours are not just for adults: they can be a great gift to give to a child as well. No doubt you will have a budget for this part of your wedding, just as you would for any other part. But this could be worth increasing if you want to give them some toys to keep them busy.

Instead of giving just one small item per child, you could make up some goody bags or boxes with all kinds of items in them. These could include small jigsaws, colouring books, playing cards and so on. You could make some up that are specifically tailored towards boys and others that are aimed at girls.

As you can see there are lots of ways you can arrange various forms of wedding entertainment for children. You might even want to opt for more than one thing so you can provide a range of entertainment for them on the big day. The children will appreciate it – and so will the parents!
