In this tutorial we are going to create another festive nail design. This design is a little easier than the snowman design (see previous tutorial). Once finished this holly nail design will go perfectly with any Christmas party outfit!
Prepare your nails
Make sure your nails are ready to be painted. Ensure that they are trimmed and filed.
Once you have done this you will be ready to begin on your festive nail art design that is sure to impress your friends.
Apply a base coatFor this design we are going to use a plain white background.
This design is fairly simple and a light background works best, but if you would prefer you can use black as you base.
Paint on the first holly leaf
Using a green nail art pen make two star shapes near the middle of your nail.
Try and overlap the star shapes so they look like a holly leaf (pictured).
Add another holly leafAgain with a green nail art pen paint anither holly leaf on your nail.
Be sure to leave small gap between this leaf and the one that you painted in the previous step.
The finishing touches
Using a red or orange nail pen place 3 dots under your holly leaves in a triangle pattern.
That’s it! You have created your Christmas holly leaves and berries. All you have to do now is paint the rest of your nails to match. Check back soon for some more nail design tutorials.
